I'm not against abortions for religious reasons, so that argument is invalid. You are aware that the fetus is a living organism right?

Most people are against abortion for religious reasons, well Adam wasn't alive until God breathed life into his lungs. Therefor according to the bible, you're not alive until you take your first breath. Er go, abortion is fine.

Abortion is difficult because it's not a black and white issue (many gray areas in between). In certain cases, such as ectopic pregnancies, where the fetus will die and it is a risk to the mother's life, abortions can be justified. But just coming from the perspective of somebody who didn't practice safe s3x and got pregnant, I do not support the women's rights issue just because once pregnant, it is not just your body anymore. Two living beings are being supported. Adoption is always an option.

In my moral understanding it is a little hypocritical. I am supportive of a woman's right to choose. I also believe in cases, where there is absolute proof, that the guilty party should be executed.

I do see your point but there are cases where giving birth to the baby would ruin the mothers life. And I think death penalty should be used in some cases so can't really argue about that. The point is that the woman who is giving birth to the baby has the right to choose what she wants to do. Although I think abortion is a great invention considering that before that people just left unwanted babies somewhere.

I would have to respectfully disagree. Both involve the termination of life. The argument that a fetus isn't considered as living is pretty farfetched because by week 4 the circulatory system is developed and the heart is beating to fuel dividing cells. These functioning cells are different from what we see as "alive," but they are considered as living cells. In my view, one is ending life that made horribly wrongful decisions, and the other is ending the opportunity for life.

Not really those two are not comparable because of many different reasons. And it really depends if you even count a fetus as a human.
